About Our Company
Coghlan Contracting is a Williamsburg, VA based, insured home restoration business with over two decades of experience in painting, pressure washing, and both common and unique wood-working. We have a B contractor's license and, as a result of customer satisfaction, per attention-to-detail and faithful, ethical practices, we’ve received A ratings with both the Better Business Bureau and Angie's List.
Pat Coghlan began his reputable business with an attendee from his then college ministry, Daniel Cappy, in the mid 90s as a window cleaning operation; asked, soon after, if he could paint, he shrugged, and decided to give it a whirl—that led to a decade of consistent residential painting and pressure washing, before he was asked, and conceded to, another radical inquiry: “Can you do wood repairs?” He hired a carpenter, Rene Canales—who now has his own reputable business; check out Canales Home Repairs—and the machine now had two dominant cogs: Painting and carpentry. Yet, over time, we continued to evolve.
Now, we offer—per Josiah Noska and Pat’s son, Michael—some newer construction and remodeling services; be it cabinets, deck or shed construction, consider us, would you, for your next big home project. For four and one half days ten very professional and courteous gentlemen, including the owner of Coghlan Enterprises, moved throughout our home patching, sanding and painting three bedrooms, two bathrooms, the kitchen and the living room, dining room and hallway entrance. Before any work began furniture and floors were covered with drop cloths. During each workday they started on time and worked together as a cohesive team to complete the work as promised.
